At Crownhill Conservatories Ltd., in Plymouth, we are approved installers of the official Guardian Warm Roof system. With a stylish design that can be customised to suit your property, the Guardian Warm Roof has thermal technology, which not only adapts to the outside temperatures, but also helps to reduce your energy bills! It has been designed to be energy efficient, with a U-value of 0.18W/m².K. (U-value is a measure of thermal performance – the lower the value, the better.)
The Guardian Warm Roof is comprised of a mixture of ventilation systems and insulation materials – including high-performance insulation. These materials when combined, eradicate the formation of condensation by providing adequate ventilation. This allows the roof to keep the conservatory at a comfortable temperature, whatever the season. The whole composition of the roof is weatherproof, eliminating both unwanted draughts in winter and hot, stuffy air in summer.
